“Nude in Harsh Illumination” painted in 2021, celebrates the joy and freedom of female sexuality however in that visibility there is the harsh view from the patriarchal society, that can tear that celebration down through shame and objectification. The female nude always lives in that dichotomy of celebration and shame.
