Funnel Hat

'Funnel Hat' is one of my imaginary portraits of a lady wearing a hat. It is painted in oils on canvas, using palette knives. I am a portrait painter professionally, and have painted faces for well over 4 decades. I started to paint these imaginary portraits to loosen up my style and to not get too tight in my painting and also, not least, because I enjoy it so much! I studied graphics at Chelsea School of Art and love colour and design, You might notice me playing with these design elements while creating my imaginary portraits.
